Two Individuals Enter Pleas to Methamphetamine Charges

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA - Two individuals entered pleas of guilty on May 7, 2012,
in United States District Court in Elkins before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:

LAWRENCE AMBROSE ROWE, age 32, of Moorefield, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to one count of conspiracy to manufacture, possess with intent to distribute and distribute methamphetamine from the Summer of 2011 to December 1, 2011, in the Northern District of West Virginia. ROWE, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.

CHRISTINA JANE LEVIN, age 24, of Augusta, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession of material used in the manufacture of methamphetamine on December 1, 2011, in Grant County, West Virginia. LEVIN, who is on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen D. Warner and was investigated by the United States Forest Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Hardy County Sheriff’s Department, the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, the West Virginia State Police and the Petersburg Police Dept.
