Two Individuals Enter Pleas in Federal Court
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - Two individuals entered pleas of guilty on June 20, 2012, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that
JON KOENIG SKY, age 32, of Arizona, entered a plea of guilty to one count of Possession with Intent to Distribute 126 pounds of Marijuana on April 6, 2010, when Drug Enforcement Administration agents intercepted a shipment of marijuana that SKY had shipped from Arizona to Martinsburg, West Virginia. SKY, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000 due to the amount of marijuana involved. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow and was investigated by agents of the Drug Enforcement Task Force in Hagerstown, Maryland, and Sierra Vista, Arizona.
DAVID HASSAN DUCKETT, age 37, of Martinsburg, entered a plea of guilty to one count of Distribution of Crack Cocaine in Martinsburg. DUCKETT, who is custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Erin K. Reisenweber and was investigated by the Eastern Panhandle Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Martinsburg Police Department, and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department.
