Pennsylvania Resident Enters Plea
in Federal Court

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 29-year old Adamsburg, Pennsylvania, resident entered a plea of guilty on June 6, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: MOSHE DAVID SHARABI entered a plea of guilty to “Traveling in Interstate Commerce from Pennsylvania to Fairmont, West Virginia, for the purpose of engaging in a sexual act with a person under 18 years of age” on March 20, 2012. SHARABI, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 30 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police-Internet Crime Against Children Unit and the Fairmont, Police Department.
