Franklin Resident Enters Plea to Methamphetamine Charge

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA — A 28 year old Franklin, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on June 26, 2012, in United States District Court in Elkins before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: ASHLEY RICKARD, entered a plea of guilty to “Possession of Material Used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine” on January 31, 2012, in Pendleton County, West Virginia. RICKARD, who is free on bond, faces up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Stephen D. Warner and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police-Franklin Detachment; the United States Forest Service and the Pendleton County Sheriff’s Department.
