Rosedale Resident Enters Plea to Marijuana Charge

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 43 year old Rosedale, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty on January 20, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: LARRY DONALD SANDY entered a plea of guilty to one count charging him with the manufacture of more than 50 kilograms of marijuana on October 11, 2010, in Rosedale. SANDY, who is free on bond, faces a maximum exposure of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $500,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police-Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
