Wheeling Resident Enters Plea to Drug Charge

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA — A 21 year old Wheeling, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on January 9, 2012, in United States District Court in Wheeling before Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.

The United States Attorney’s Office announced that: CODY PELLARIN entered a plea of guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and marijuana from the early part of October to October 14, 2011, in Wheeling. As part of his plea, PELLARIN has agreed to pay a money judgment in the amount of $3,000. PELLARIN, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney John C. Parr and was investigated by the Ohio Valley Drug Task Force consisting of officers from the Wheeling Police Department, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
