Morgantown Resident Sentenced on
Heroin Conspiracy Charge

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 30 year old Morgantown, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on January 6, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that AMANDA BORROR was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. BORROR entered a plea of guilty on September 21, 2011, to one count of conspiracy to distribute heroin between June 2008 and June 2010 in Morgantown. BORROR was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to a Federal institution.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew R. Cogar and was investigation by the West Virginia State Police-Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
