Martinsburg Resident Enters Plea to
Possession of Child Pornography Charge

 

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 24-year old Martinsburg, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on February 29, 2012, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that DANIEL CHRISTOPHER JACKSON entered a plea of guilty to one count of Possession of Child Pornography on February 2, 2011, in Martinsburg, when 3,468 images and 64 videos containing child pornography were seized from his residence. JACKSON, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police.
