Clarksburg Resident Enters Plea to Drug Charge

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA -A 20-year old Clarksburg resident entered a plea of guilty on December 7, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: TYQUAY WILLIAMS a/k/a “LOON,” entered a plea of guilty to “Distribution of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of Monticello Avenue Park Playground” on March 5, 2012. WILLIAMS, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 40 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000.

The case was prosecuted by Criminal Chief Shawn A. Morgan and investigated by the Harrison County Drug Task Force consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
