Buckhannon Resident Enters Plea to Drug Charge

 

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA — A 54-year old Buckhannon, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on April 10, 2012, in United States District Court in Elkins before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that RALPH W. JACK entered a plea of guilty to one count of Distribution of Fentanyl TS Patch on January 7, 2010, in Upshur County. JACK, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 30 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000 due to a prior felony conviction.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Stephen D. Warner and was investigated by the Upshur County Sheriff’s Department, the Buckhannon Police Department and the West Virginia State Police.
