Weston Resident Enters Plea of Guilty
to Attempted Transfer of Obscenity to a Minor

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A Weston, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on September 19, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that ADAM EDWARDS entered a plea of guilty to attempting to transfer obscenity to a minor in Bridgeport, West Virginia, on November 22, 2010. EDWARDS, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David J. Perri and ws investigated by the Bridgeport Police Department.
