Pennsylvania Resident Enters Plea in Federal Court

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 22 year old Monroeville, Pennsylvania, resident entered a plea of guilty today (August 17, 2011), in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: DAVID DARNELL LEE entered a plea of guilty to one count of distribution of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of the Washington Irving Middle School and 1,000 feet of Pierpont Community & Technical College of FSU on September 28, 2009, in Clarksburg, West Virginia. LEE, who is on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 1 to 40 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the Harrison County consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
