Charles Town Resident Entered Guilty Plea to Drug Charge

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 21 year old Charles Town, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on September 3, 2010, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that COLTON LAMARR PITMAN entered a plea of guilty to a one-count Information charging him with the distribution of cocaine on January 22, 2010. PITMAN, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti. The case was investigated by the Charles Town Police Department, the Ranson Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
