Defendant Entered Guilty Plea to Illegal Reentry

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 22 year old defendant entered a plea of guilty on September 3, 2010, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that ESVIN ROEL DUBON OCAMPO entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with illegal reentry into the United States after previously being deported. OCAMPO, who is currently in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of two years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Erin K. Reisenweber. The case was investigated by the Martinsburg Police Department and United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
