Sardis Resident Sentenced to 10 Years on Firearms Charge

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA - A 27 year old Sardis, Ohio, resident was sentenced today (October 25, 2010), in United States District Court in Wheeling by Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that JASON BEISEL was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. BEISEL entered a plea of guilty on June 14, 2010, to one count of possession of stolen firearms from December 30, 3009, to January 8, 2010, in New Martinsville, West Virginia. BEISEL was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Randolph J. Bernard and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
