Federal Inmate Convicted Of
Possessing a Prohibited Object

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 38 year old federal inmate was convicted by a Federal Trial Jury on August 11, 2010, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that TONY LEE MILLER was convicted on one count of an Indictment charging him with unlawfully possessing an object designed to be used as a weapon on May 4, 2009, while incarcerated at USP Hazelton.

MILLER, who is in custody, faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Sherry L. Muncy. The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Services at USP Hazelton.
