Charles Town Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Distribution of Cocaine Hydrochloride

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 23 year old Charles Town, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on October 22, 2009, in United States District Court in Martinsburg, before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.

Acting United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that RASEAN POLLARD entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with the distribution of cocaine hydrochloride within 1,000 feet of a school on March 4, 2009, in Martinsburg.

POLLARD, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 40 years imprisonment and a fine of $2,000,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives and the Charles Town Police Department.
