Bayard Resident Sentenced on Cocaine Charge

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA — A 27 year old Bayard, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on June 11, 2009, in United States District Court in Elkins by Judge Robert E. Maxwell.

United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that RICHARD ALLEN GORDON was sentenced to 46 months imprisonment. GORDON entered a plea of guilty on April 18, 2007, to one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine in January 2007. GORDON is in federal custody.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Paul T. Camilletti. The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration Hagerstown Task Force.
