Clarksburg Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Distributing “Crack” within 1,000 Feet of a School

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 22 year old Clarksburg, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on June 30, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.

United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that TIMOTHY ROBERT WILSON entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with aiding and abetting the distribution of “crack” cocaine within 1,000 feet of Washington Irving Middle School in Clarksburg on October 2, 2008.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn Angus Morgan. The case was investigated by the Harrison/Lewis County Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, the Bridgeport Police Department, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
