United States Attorney James L. Santelle announced today that Chief United States District Court Judge Charles N. Clevert sentenced Amani P. Booker (Age:35) of Milwaukee to 14 years in prison for his recruitment, advertisement, and use of a 14-year-old girl as a prostitute at an Oak Creek Hotel in violation of Title 18 USC 1591. His co-defendant, Holly Arnold (Age: 24), of Milwaukee who Booker also prostituted, received a sentence of one year in prison for her role in the crime.

Booker picked up the minor on May 21, 2010 as she was walking down a Milwaukee street and convinced her to prostitute for him. Booker took both females to a hotel in Oak Creek, gave the minor marijuana to smoke, and took nude photos of the girl. Booker then used his computer to post the photos of the minor on an internet escort site and advertised her services as part of a “two-girl special” with Arnold. The prostitution activity at the hotel lasted approximately 36 hours. Oak Creek Police Officers were tipped off about the customer traffic at the hotel and on May 23 they stopped a car driven by Booker in which both Arnold and the child were passengers.

On July 13, 2010, a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Wisconsin indicted both Booker and Arnold for their respective roles in the crime.

The indictment and convictions were the result of an investigation by the Oak Creek Police Department with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Milwaukee Police Department.
