"Possession of Child Pornography nets 48 Months in Prison"
Spokane – Michael C. Ormsby, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, announced that on April 2, 2012, Jonathan Stocker, age 30, of Spokane Valley, Washington, was sentenced to 48 months in prison for possession of child pornography. Jonathan Stocker will be under federal court supervision for 5 years after he is released from custody. In addition, the Defendant was ordered to forfeit his computers.
On May 31, 2011, Special Agents with the United States Secret Service executed a federal search warrant at Jonathan Stocker's residence in Spokane Valley. The Special Agents seized numerous computers, electronic storage devices, and other electronic media pursuant to the search warrant. A forensic examination of the electronic media was subsequently conducted. That examination revealed one child pornography video and 24 child pornography images, including images of children under the age of 12 and images of sadistic and masochistic acts. The Special Agents interviewed Jonathan Stocker, who confessed to possessing the child pornography.

Ormsby, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, said, "Law enforcement officers in the Eastern District of Washington are committed to investigating and uncovering child pornography crimes and this Office remains committed to prosecuting and seeking appropriate punishment for such crimes."
This case was prosecuted as part of Project Safe Childhood.
