Spokane – Today, Michael C. Ormsby, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, announced that Eddie Ray Hall, age 47, of Spokane, was sentenced to 195 months in prison for delivery of methamphetamine. Eddie Ray Hall will be under court supervision for 60 months after he is released from prison.

Eddie Ray Hall was arrested on October 6, 2008, for distribution of 78 grams of a substance containing 38.5 grams of pure methamphetamine. The sentence Eddie Ray Hall received reflects sentencing enhancements for being a career offender. The charge Eddie Ray Hall was sentenced for today resolved multiple sales of methamphetamine in the Spokane area.

Michael C. Ormsby, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, said, "The use and sale of methamphetamine have a devastating effect on our community. This addictive substance spawns a host of other crimes committed by people who must fund their destructive habit."

This investigation was conducted by the Spokane County Sheriff's Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This case was prosecuted by Matthew F. Duggan, Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington.
