Federal Officials to Make Comments Following Plea Hearing for 'Granddad Bandit'

RICHMOND, Va. – The court has scheduled a plea hearing for Michael Francis Mara, of Baton Rouge, La., a/k/a the “Granddad Bandit,” before United States District Judge James R. Spencer TOMORROW, FEB. 10, 2011, at 11:30 A.M.

            Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and Shawn VanSlyke, Acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Richmond Division, will be available for comment immediately following the hearing directly outside the Richmond federal courthouse.
