ARLINGTON, TEXAS, MAN FORT WORTH, Texas — Danny A. Kuhn, 51, of Arlington, Texas, pleaded guilty this morning before U.S. District Judge John McBryde to an indictment charging one count of possession of child pornography. Kuhn was arrested in mid-April 2011 on the charge and was released on bond. He is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge McBryde on September 30, 2011; he faces a maximum statutory sentence of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a lifetime of supervised release. According to documents filed in the case, in March 2010, agents with U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) visited the Kuhn residence concerning a lead they had received that a target at that residence had purchased child pornography via the Internet. An examination of Kuhn’s computer and storage media revealed child pornography that Kuhn admitted purchasing via the Internet. ICE-HSI is investigating and Assistant U.S. Attorney Alex C. Lewis is in charge of the prosecution. ### |
