LUBBOCK, Texas. — Kenneth Douglas Baker, Jr., pled guilty today in federal court in Lubbock to one count of interstate receipt of child pornography, announced U.S. Attorney Richard B. Roper of the Northern District of Texas. A federal grand jury in Lubbock indicted Baker in August on four counts of receiving child pornography. Baker entered his plea before U.S. District Judge Sam R. Cummings who ordered a pre-sentence investigations with sentencing to be scheduled after that investigation is completed. He has been in federal custody since appearing before a U.S. Magistrate Judge on the criminal complaint that was filed in August.

In documents filed in Court, Baker admitted that he used the Internet to collect and trade images and videos of child and adult pornography. He admitted that he used a program to regularly delete the child pornography off his computer because he knew it was illegal. He also admitted that over the past few years, he has viewed more than 10,000 images and videos relating to child pornography.
