Federal Grand Jury Returns Multiple Indictments in Plano, Texas

PLANO, Texas –A federal grand jury returned multiple indictments this week charging individuals with separate federal crimes in the Eastern District of Texas, announced U.S. Attorney John M. Bales today.

                Carolyn Boehm-McCauley, 48, of Plano, Texas, has been indicted for unlawful use of a means of identification and unlawful use of an unauthorized access device.  If convicted, Boehm-McCauley faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard J. Johnson.

                Bobby Gerald Howard, 59, of Blossom, Texas, has been indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm.  If convicted, Howard faces up to 10 years in prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard J. Johnson.

                Colin Dane Kiser, 22, of Gainesville, Texas, has been indicted for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.  If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James E. Peacock.

                Mark Dale Robison, 33, of Gainesville, Texas, has been indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.  If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James E. Peacock.

                Jeremy Nathaniel Brown, 23, of Gainesville, Texas, has been indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.  If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James E. Peacock.

                Jerry Allen Aiken, Jr., 30, of Gainesville, Texas, has been indicted for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.  If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James E. Peacock.

                Fred Castoneda Rios, 30, of Gainesville, Texas, has been indicted for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.  If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James E. Peacock.

                Catrina Withers Gann Maldonado, 34, of Corpus Christi, Texas, has been indicted for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.  If convicted, she faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James E. Peacock.

                Johnny Earl Alexander, 29, of Chico, Texas, has been indicted for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.  If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in federal prison.  This case is being investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James E. Peacock.

               
A grand jury indictment is not evidence of guilt.  All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
