United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Rapid City man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for knowingly converting to his own use funds of the United States Air Force between August and December of 2011.

Roman Glenn, Jr., age 21, was indicted by a federal grand jury on November 19, 2012, for theft of Government Property and False Statement. Glenn appeared before United States Magistrate Judge Veronica L. Duffy on December 13, 2012, and pled not guilty to the indictment. The maximum penalty upon conviction is 10 years' imprisonment and a $250,000 fine. The charges are merely accusations, and Glenn is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The investigation is being conducted by the Department of the Air Force. Glenn was released on bond pending trial. A trial date has been set for February 19, 2013.
