Mission Woman Sentenced for Escape

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Mission woman charged with Escape was sentenced on October19, 2011, by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey L. Viken. Lori Little Bear, age 41, was sentenced to time served and a $100 victim assessment.
Little Bear was indicted by a federal grand jury on May 10, 2011. In May 2011, Little Bear left Community Alternatives of the Black Hills where she was serving a federal sentence and did not return. She pled guilty on August 5, 2011.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Marshal’s Service. Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Kelderman prosecuted the case.
