west Chester Man Charged With Drug Possession

Dominic Divalerio, age 39, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, was charged by information with possession with intent to distribute steroids, and with introducing misbranded drugs into interstate commerce, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The misbranded drugs included PT-141, which is also known as bremelanotide.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 13 years of imprisonment, three years of supervised release, a $500,000 fine, and a $200 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Food and Drug Administration - Office or Criminal Investigations, and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Department of Homeland Security, and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Laurie Magid.
