three men indicted for child porn

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – David M. Ketchmark, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced today that three southern Missouri men have been indicted, in separate and unrelated cases, for receiving and distributing child pornography over the Internet.

Rodney Russell

Rodney Russell, 40, of Joplin, was charged in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Springfield, Mo., on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. The federal indictment charges Russell with receiving and distributing child pornography over the Internet between Oct. 4 and Dec. 21, 2011.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James J. Kelleher. It was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations and the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force.

Leland Wallace Crull

Leland Wallace Crull, 43, of Bolivar, Mo., was charged in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Springfield, Mo., on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. The federal indictment charges Crull with receiving and distributing child pornography over the Internet between April 28 and Aug. 9, 2012.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James J. Kelleher. It was investigated by the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force and the Polk County, Mo., Sheriff’s Department.

Emilio Haro

Emilio Haro, 29, of Buffalo, Mo., was charged in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Springfield, Mo., on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. The federal indictment charges Haro with receiving and distributing child pornography over the Internet between June 20 and Aug. 30, 2012.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James J. Kelleher. It was investigated by the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force, the Republic, Mo., Police Department and the Nixa, Mo., Police Department.

Ketchmark cautioned that the charges contained in these indictments are simply accusations, and not evidence of guilt. Evidence supporting the charges must be presented to a federal trial jury, whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
