ALFONSO VALENZUELA-RODRIGUEZ, age 27, a citizen of Mexico, was charged in a one-count indictment by a Federal Grand Jury for illegal re-entry into the United States by a removed alien, announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten.

According to court documents, on or about November 25, 2011, RODRIGUEZ an alien who had previously been removed from the United States, was knowingly and unlawfully found in the United States in the Eastern District of Louisiana without the Attorney General or the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security having expressly consented to his re-application for admission into the United States.
