Shine also admitted that on three separate occasions in April, June, and October 2010, he distributed crack cocaine to individuals cooperating with law enforcement. One of the distributions occurred within 1000 feet of Leif Erikson Park in Sioux City.
Shine was sentenced in Sioux City by United States District Court Judge Mark W. Bennett. Shine was sentenced to 168 months’ imprisonment. Shine must also serve a consecutive term of 12 months’ imprisonment for a revocation of supervised release violation. A special assessment of $200 was imposed.
