PENSACOLA, FLORIDA – Jacobi F. Foster, age 28 of Pensacola, pled guilty this afternoon to twenty-four federal charges stemming from the law enforcement undercover operation “Anything for a Buck,” announced United States Attorney Pamela C. Marsh, Northern District of Florida.

The federal indictment charged Foster with possessing in excess of thirty firearms between July and October of this year. He sold these firearms, which included multiple assault rifles, to undercover agents. Because Foster is a convicted felon, he was not allowed to lawfully possess any of these firearms. Foster also pled guilty to distributing cocaine to the undercover agents on four occasions. Each of the cocaine transactions coincided with Foster selling firearms.

Chief United States District Judge Casey Rodgers will sentence Foster in February 2012. Because of his criminal history, Foster faces up to life imprisonment for this conviction.

U.S. Attorney Marsh praised the work of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives as well as the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and the Pensacola Police Department . The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David L. Goldberg.
