FORT SMITH MAN ENTERS GUILTY PLEA TO PRODUCTION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY AND RECEIVING VISUAL DEPICTIONS OF
MINORS ENGAGED IN SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONDUCT

Fort Smith, Arkansas - Conner Eldridge, United States Attorney for the Western District of
Arkansas announced that Judson Morrow, age 44, of Fort Smith, Arkansas pleaded guilty today to
Production of Child Pornography and Receiving Visual Depictions of Minors Engaged in Sexually
Explicit Conduct. Chief U.S. District Judge P. K. Holmes, III accepted the guilty plea in U.S.
District Court in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Morrow faces up to 80 years imprisonment for his crimes
as well as a fine up to $250,000. Morrow admitted to using his computer to produce or attempt to
produce sexually explicit images of two minor females and to downloading images of child
pornography from the internet.
Per court records, an acquaintance of Morrow reported seeing an image of child pornography
on Morrow’s computer to the Fort Smith Police Department. The Fort Smith Police Department
obtained a search warrant for Morrow’s apartment in Fort Smith. A forensic examination of seized
computers showed that Morrow was using a peer to peer program to download child pornography
images from the internet. The forensic examination also showed that Morrow used his computer to
produce child pornography images of two minor females while they were in his apartment in Fort
Smith.
This case was investigated by the Fort Smith Police Department. Assistant United States
Attorney Candace Taylor prosecuted the case for the United States.
