Colm F. Connolly, United States Attorney for the District of Delaware announced today that a Federal Grand Jury returned an Indictment(1) against Ronald J. Saggese, age 42, of Centerville, Delaware. The Indictment charges three counts of tax evasion for the years 1996, 1997, and 1998. The Indictment charges that Saggese, in filing his tax returns for the years in question, underreported his taxable income in the total amount of approximately $500,000.

The maximum penalty for each count of the Indictment is five years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
