ATTORNEY GENERAL RENO TO JOIN CONGRESSIONAL
LEADERS TO CALL FOR REAUTHORIZATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno will address the importance of the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act at a press conference tomorrow on Capitol Hill. In her remarks, the Attorney General will discuss new statistics on intimate partner violence that are due to be released tomorrow morning by the Bureau of Justice Statistics.
The Attorney General will be joined at the event by Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr., and Representatives Tammy Baldwin, and John Conyers, Jr. among others.
