Denver is a major city with a population over 500,000.

Aurora and Colorado Springs, Colorado are major cities with populations between 250,000 and 499,999.

Salt Lake City, West Valley City, and Provo, Utah; and Fort Collins, Arvada, Lakewood, Westminster, and Pueblo, Colorado are cities with populations between 100,000 and 249,999.

Cities of interest are Butte, Helena, Bozeman, Billings, and Great Falls, Montana; Casper, Cheyenne, Rock Springs, and Green River, Wyoming; Ogden, and St. George, Utah; and Greeley, Colorado.

Ports of Entry in Montana are Roosville, Trail Creek, Chief Mountain, Piegan, Del Bonita, Sweetgrass, Whitlash, Wild Horse, Willow Creek, Turner, Morgan, Opheim, Scobey, Whitetail, and Raymond.

The national forest shown is Dixie National Forest.

Reservations in Montana are Blackfeet, Flathead, Rocky Boys, Fort Belknap, Fort Peck, Crow, and Northern Cheyenne; Wind River is the reservation in Wyoming; reservations in Utah are Goshute, Skull Valley, Uintah & Ouray, Paiute, and Navajo; and reservations in Colorado are Ute Mountain and Southern Ute.

HIDTA counties in Montana are Flathead, Missoula, Lewis and Clark, Cascade, and Yellowstone. HIDTA counties in Wyoming are Campbell, Natrona, Albany, Laramie, Sweetwater, and Uinta. HIDTA counties in Utah are Weber, Davis, Salt Lake, Utah, Summit, and Washington. National Forests that reported cannabis eradication in 2009 only are Uinta (7 plants eradicated) and Manti-La Sal (25,375 plants eradicated) (Utah); and Pike & San Isabel (23,600 plants eradicated) (Colorado).

National Forests that reported an increase in cannabis eradication from 2008 to 2009 are Fishlake (16,737 more plants eradicated) and Dixie (9,139 more plants eradicated) (Utah).

Native American Reservations falling within Rocky Mountain HIDTA counties are Flathead and Crow (Montana); and Ute and Ute Mountain (Colorado).

National Forests or National Grasslands falling within Rocky Mountain HIDTA counties are Kootenai, Flathead, Lolo, Bitterroot, Deerlodge, Helena, and Lewis and Clark (Montana); Clearwater (Idaho); Thunder Basin, and Medicine Bow (Wyoming); Cache, Wasatch, and Ashley (Utah); and Routt, Roosevelt, Pawnee, White River, Arapaho, Grand Mesa, Gunnison, Uncompahgre, and San Juan (Colorado).
