The Los Angeles High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area consists of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.

Inland Empire counties are Riverside and San Bernardino.

Major cities in the area with populations of over 1,000,000 are Los Angeles and San Diego.

Inland Empire cities are Banning, Barstow, Chino, Colton, Corona, Fontana, Grand Terrace, Hesperia, Moreno Valley, Needles, Norco, Ontario, Perris, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Riverside, San Bernardino, Twentynine Palms, Victorville, and Yucca Valley.

The Ports of Entry are San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, Tecate, Calexico West, Calexico East, and Andrade.

The interstate highways within this region are I-5, I-8, I-10, I-15, I-40, I-210, and I-215.

The U.S. highway is route 101.

The state highways are routes 86 and 111.

The Mexican highways are routes 1, 2, and 5.
